Its establishment is a new measure for the board of directors of the ancestral temple to promote the development of Mazu culture in the new period, and provides a new place for cultural cooperation and friendship exchanges with the outside world. Free opening means that citizens and tourists have a new place to learn about Mazu culture in the urban area of Putian. In the exhibition area of nearly 400m2 on the first floor of the Putian Guild Hall of Meizhou Zu Temple, nearly 1000 pieces of Mazu articles of various kinds are displayed, including not only lifelike sandalwood painted Mazu statues, but also China's traditional cloisonne enamel Mazu tea set, Meizhou Mazu temple panoramic wood carving, Mazu seal, purple sand pot, Mazu Ping an tea, and other Mazu cultural products with full elements, which can be described as a full range of products and styles. The exhibition area of Mazu culture on the second floor is composed of three parts: "looking back on the hometown of the Heavenly Concubine", "Overview of Meizhou ancestral Temple" and "Great View of Mazu belief and Custom". In the form of physical furnishings, video special effects, connecting ancient and modern times, connecting up and down, and full of pictures and texts, the Mazu cultural exhibition area on the second floor integrates the cultural landscape with the natural landscape, so that believers at home and abroad will cherish the memory of this ancient saint of the mother world, and feel the historical origin of the broad and profound Mazu culture.
